The Foundation’s work on behalf of people with experience of migration, including refugees, is made possible by the tremendous commitment of donors, volunteers and allies.
Join our activities and be a support to people on the move in building a good life in Poland. You can do this in several ways:
Financial support
The simplest and most valuable way to support is to donate to the Ocalenie Foundation’s activities. Regular contributions, regardless of the amount, are especially important. They are what allow us to provide stable and long-term support to people on the move and respond quickly to emergencies.
Volunteering
Our volunteers teach Polish, support refugee children in their studies, provide humanitarian assistance at the border, and translate documents. In short: they do incredibly important work that enables us to support several thousand people with migration experience every year. You can find current volunteer opportunities in the VOLUNTEER section. We offer cooperation based on a volunteer agreement, volunteer organization, free training and support from the Foundation’s team.
Renting apartments and rooms
It is very difficult for foreigners to find a safe roof over their heads in Poland. That is why we are looking for apartments and rooms for rent in Warsaw and the surrounding area. We provide landlords with full support and a stable, long-term rental. Details can be found in the section Renting apartments and rooms.
Donation of 1.5% tax
Proceeds from 1.5% tax are an important part of funding the Foundation’s integration activities. All you need to do is to select Ocalenie Foundation from the list of public benefit organizations in your tax return. Our KRS number is: 0000030279. You can find exact instructions in the 1.5% tax tab.
Fundraisers at events
If you are organizing an important event and want to do some good on the occasion, be sure to email us at [email protected]. We will respond, give you a hint and together we will make sure that your involvement is as smooth and successful as possible.
In-kind support
The needs of our clients are mainly: hygiene items, household chemicals and basic cosmetics. If you would like to contribute to the in-kind support point with your donation, be sure to write to: [email protected]. For more information, see the tab about in-kind support. Due to the lack of storage space, we do not accept items brought without prior notification. Thanks for your understanding.
