The word border holds many meanings for children with refugee experience. It’s a physical line on a map they crossed, leaving behind their entire world: home, school, family, and friends. But it’s also the invisible barriers they face every day in Poland: linguistic, cultural, and social.
If there is a force that doesn’t recognize these borders, it’s certainly DREAMS.
For the third time, we invite you to the exhibition of works by children and youth participating in the Knowledge to the Max program. This year’s title – DREAMS WITHOUT BORDERS – is a tribute to the unlimited imagination of young artists who, with the support of Ocalenie Foundation, are working to find their place in a new reality.
The young people whose works you will see at the exhibition are participants in the Knowledge to the Max tutoring program, which Ocalenie Foundation has been running in cooperation with the BNP Paribas Foundation for over 7 years. As part of the program, approximately 100 young people receive academic support annually. The goal of this initiative is to equalize educational opportunities for children with migration experience, including those with refugee backgrounds. Through systematic support, we help them overcome systemic barriers and navigate the Polish school system, increasing their chances of successfully completing their education.
By attending the exhibition, you let these young people feel that they are seen, heard, and that what they have to say to the world is important.

The exhibition is open to visitors from October 1 to October 14, 2025, during the Library’s opening hours:
Monday: 1:00 PM – 8:45 PM
Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 8:45 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:45 PM
Sunday: 10:00 AM – 1:45 PM
