We invite children and adolescents with experience of migration, including refugees, to free psychological consultations at the Ocalenie Foundation.
If you see that your child is having a difficult time and something is happening that you cannot help with on your own, please come and see us.
When is it worth seeing a psychologist?
Pay attention to whether your child:
- has suddenly become withdrawn, sad, or lost interest in playing,
- has difficulty learning or relating to peers,
- often explodes with anger or is very irritable,
- has trouble sleeping or complains of stomachaches/headaches for no apparent reason,
- often thinks back to difficult events from the past.
The Foundation employs experienced psychologists who work with young people with migration experience on a daily basis. Our help is free of charge. We work with young people and children aged 7 to 18. We speak English, Polish, and Russian, and with the support of an interpreter (Arabic, Georgian, Tajik, Ukrainian, Farsi).
